Fashion designer and TV personality Abigail Petit-Frere, also known as Abs Petit annouched the launch of her new fashion collection. The new brand called “VBSTRVKTD” consists of a collection of women’s clothes. The new collection only features six introductory pieces to catch the attention of future investors – hoping to help her produce a much fuller line.
Abs created the name of the brand from the word “abstracted,” which means “showing a lack of concentration to what is happening around one.” The letters A’s were replaced with V’s and there aren’t other vowels used to pronounce the world. According to Abs, “I wanted the name of my collection to reflect where my inspiration comes from, and how I had to let go of the toxic influences that used to surrounded me.”
The idea of the line came shortly after her time on the E! network show House of DVF with fashion mogul Diane Von Furstenberg. She says the fashion icon gave her the confidence to be the woman she wanted to be. The fashion designer recently debuted the line at a private mansion event in Orlando.
